Questions?
What is the process for booking sessions?
The first step is a free 15-minute GI Strategy Call. During this no-pressure call, we’ll review your symptoms, talk through your concerns, and identify the most appropriate next steps for support.
How are sessions conducted?
All sessions are conducted over Zoom in a secure HIPAA compliant virtual room. This makes it easy to receive personalized support in a private, convenient setting.
Why do you only offer packaged solutions?
Healing is a process that requires time, patience, and consistent support. Packaged solutions make it possible to give you the level of care you deserve over a timeline that honors your body’s unique needs. Rather than offering quick, one-time advice, this approach allows us to work together more deeply, make adjustments as needed, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Do you accept insurance?
Unfortunately, I do not accept insurance. This was a thoughtful decision made in support of the kind of care I want to provide: personalized, in-depth, and centered on your unique healing process. Insurance often places limits on what can be addressed, how sessions are structured, and how long we can work together. Because healing is not one-size-fits-all, I believe you deserve care that is guided by your needs — not by an insurance company’s checklist.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Payments are accepted by credit card only, including FSA and HSA cards. This helps keep the process simple and secure for our fully virtual practice.
What states do you serve?
Amy is currently licensed to practice in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, and Wisconsin. If you do not see your state listed, you may still be eligible to work with her, as some states do not require licensure (for example: Michigan). Additional state licensure may also be available when appropriate. Schedule a free GI Strategy Call to explore your options.
Do I really need a nutrition genetic test?
A nutrition genetic test can be a powerful tool for personalizing your care. Your genes offer important clues about how your body may respond to nutrients, stress, and inflammation, helping us make more informed decisions about the foods and supplements that may support your health best. While it is not necessary in every case, it can take much of the guesswork out of building a nutrition plan tailored to your body.
Do you require any additional testing?
Additional testing is strongly recommended for many clients because it helps create a more personalized care plan. Nutrigenomic and stool testing can provide insight into your body’s unique biochemistry as well as what may be happening in your digestive tract. Depending on your symptoms, history, and goals, other testing may also be recommended. This added information helps us reduce guesswork and make more targeted decisions to support your healing process.
Do you offer meal plans?
Amy’s approach is centered on education and empowerment rather than one-size-fits-all meal plans. She will teach you how to create balanced meals that align with your lifestyle, taste preferences, and any food restrictions, so you can make confident choices that feel sustainable in everyday life.
How do I schedule?
Following your free 15-minute GI Strategy Call, Amy will invite you to Practice Better, a secure online health management platform. This is where you’ll schedule appointments, access messaging, and handle payments with ease.
