You’ve been navigating this alone long enough.
Specialized virtual nutrition care for complex GI conditions, built on functional lab testing.

You’ve been told everything is normal, but it doesn’t feel normal
You’re bloated, exhausted, and foggy, and every lab has come back clean. You’ve seen the specialists, run the tests, and been told everything looks fine. Maybe you’ve started to accept that this is just how your body works now. But you know your body, and something isn’t right.
The problem isn’t you. Conventional medicine wasn’t built to connect the dots between bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhea, cramping, indigestion, heartburn, joint pain, brain fog, headaches, fatigue, anxiety, and depression. Functional nutrition was.
At Grounded Root Nutrition, I look for the root cause instead of chasing symptoms. Using targeted functional lab testing and a whole-body approach, I dig into what’s actually driving your IBS, SIBO, celiac disease, IBD, GERD, food sensitivities, autoimmune condition, or other complex GI condition. Then I build a protocol around what we find, not another elimination diet and not another dead end.
HOW I WORK
The Grounded GI Method
Most approaches to gut health treat symptoms in isolation. Mine is a five-step framework built for complex GI conditions, guiding you from discovery through long-term resilience.
R1
Discover
A deep dive into your medical history, labs, symptoms, dietary patterns, and inflammatory triggers.
R2
Connect
Jump-start healing by strengthening the nervous system, which regulates everything else.
R3
Remove
Relieve symptoms and enable healing by removing inflammatory foods, toxins, stressors, and parasites.
R4
Build
Create a balanced internal ecosystem using nutrient-dense foods and supplements chosen for you.
R5
Strengthen
Simple lifestyle changes that optimize the body, reduce supplement dependence, and protect your progress.
THE PACKAGE
Your first six months together

Healing your gut isn’t a quick fix. Most of my patients work with me for nine to twelve months, because real change takes time. The six-month starter package gives you enough runway to dig deep, work systematically, and actually move the needle.
- One 90-minute initial consultation covering your health history, labs, symptoms, and goals
- Five 45-minute follow-ups to review labs, adjust protocols, and keep you on track
- Two functional labs — comprehensive stool testing and nutrigenomics
- Messaging between sessions through your client portal
- Practitioner-only dispensary access (Fullscript and Doctor’s Supplement Store) at discounted pricing
$2,500
Pay monthly: $1,150 to start, covering your labs and deposit, then $225/month for six months
Pay in full: $2,400 up front
Credit card only, including FSA and HSA. I don’t accept insurance, and that’s a deliberate choice. Insurance limits what can be addressed, how sessions are structured, and how long we can work together. Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, and your care shouldn’t be shaped by a checklist.

Most patients keep going. Continuing costs $235/month, or $650 for a pack of three sessions. Custom plans with two sessions per month are available if you need more frequent support. Additional functional labs can be added as needed ($100–600 each), and I’ll flag anything worth running during your call.
TESTING
The labs behind your protocol
Your package includes two functional labs. Which ones depends on your symptoms and history.
STOOL
GI-MAP
Comprehensive stool analysis covering pathogens, opportunistic bacteria, parasites, and markers of digestive and immune function. Usually the starting point.
NUTRIGENOMICS
3×4 Genetics
A one-time test, since your DNA doesn’t change. Reveals how your genetic variants affect nutrient metabolism, inflammation, and detoxification. Includes a dedicated analysis session.
FOOD SENSITIVITY
MRT / LEAP
A 176-item panel covering 147 foods and 29 chemicals. A blood draw fee of $40–65 may apply.
URINE
Organic Acids (OAP)
Assesses mitochondrial function, neurotransmitter balance, dysbiosis markers, and nutrient status.
These aren’t the only tests available. Depending on your symptoms, history, and goals, we may also explore hormone panels, micronutrient testing, or hair mineral analysis. Every recommendation is individualized. We run what’s relevant to you, nothing more.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Common questions
- What is the process for booking sessions?
- The first step is a free 20-minute GI Strategy Call. During this no-pressure call, we’ll review your symptoms, talk through your concerns, and identify the most appropriate next steps for support.
- How are sessions conducted?
- All sessions are conducted over Zoom in a secure HIPAA-compliant virtual room. This makes it easy to receive personalized support in a private, convenient setting.
- Why do you only offer packaged solutions?
- Healing is a process that requires time, patience, and consistent support. Packaged solutions make it possible to give you the level of care you deserve over a timeline that honors your body’s unique needs. Rather than offering quick, one-time advice, this approach allows us to work together more deeply, make adjustments as needed, and create meaningful, lasting change.
- Do you accept insurance?
- Unfortunately, I do not accept insurance. This was a thoughtful decision made in support of the kind of care I want to provide: personalized, in-depth, and centered on your unique healing process. Insurance often places limits on what can be addressed, how sessions are structured, and how long we can work together. Because healing is not one-size-fits-all, I believe you deserve care that is guided by your needs, not an insurance company’s checklist.
- What forms of payment are accepted?
- Payments are accepted by credit card only, including FSA and HSA cards. This helps keep the process simple and secure for our fully virtual practice.
- Do I really need a nutrition genetic test?
- A nutrition genetic test can be a powerful tool for personalizing your care. Your genes offer important clues about how your body may respond to nutrients, stress, and inflammation, helping us make more informed decisions about the foods and supplements that may support your health best. While it is not necessary in every case, it can take much of the guesswork out of building a nutrition plan tailored to your body.
- Do you require any additional testing?
- Additional testing is strongly recommended for many patients because it helps create a more personalized care plan. Nutrigenomic and stool testing can provide insight into your body’s unique biochemistry as well as what may be happening in your digestive tract. Depending on your symptoms, history, and goals, other testing may also be recommended. This added information helps us reduce guesswork and make more targeted decisions to support your healing process.
- Do you offer meal plans?
- My approach is centered on education and empowerment rather than one-size-fits-all meal plans. I will teach you how to create balanced meals that align with your lifestyle, taste preferences, and any food restrictions, so you can make confident choices that feel sustainable in everyday life.
- How do I schedule?
- Following your free 20-minute GI Strategy Call, I will invite you to Practice Better, a secure online health management platform. This is where you’ll schedule appointments, access messaging, and handle payments with ease.
